ABOUT NEAP

Learn More About Us

Neely EAP (NEAP) is a program of Neely Behavioral Health (NBH).

NBH is a mental health company that offers counseling services, training, and assistance programs for employees, students, and families. We give you hope, inspiration, and freedom to live your best life.

The vision is to create a mental health platform that focuses on preventive care instead of reacting to mental health issues after things have gone wrong. As a result, promoting annual counselor check-ins became a central theme. NEAP’s current focus is to partner with small to midsize companies and Texas agencies to provide employee assistance programs (EAP). These services include counseling, training, overall wellness enhancement, and work-life resources, giving more people direct access to mental health services.

Our mission is to create a national initiative to break the stigma associated with mental health by recommending annual mental health check-ins. We call it getting a “Couch Time Check-In”. Everyone deserves a little couch time. Regular check-ins will go a long way in detecting when someone is struggling and could prevent small problems from turning into significant issues. Preventive check-ups have been shown to significantly reduce the risk of chronic illness in the medical field. We hope to bring the same philosophy to the mental health field. Preventive check-ins can also reduce the stigma associated with mental health.

Our founder, Dr. Kirleen Neely, has created different ways to connect and provide services to clients.
